Dinner Ideas

The dinners here take from 45 minutes to 90 minutes to prepare, so if you don't mind waiting with a cup of tea while the dinner is on the stove, this is for you.

Jerked Chicken

Jerked Chicken

Ingredients

  • Chicken Legs and Thighs
  • Jerked Sauce
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 Blended Ginger Root
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 whole Garlic


Instructions

Wash chicken with vinegar or lemon juice

Add Jerked Sauce and let sit for 1 hr.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Spread chicken in baking dish

After 20 minutes, flip chicken

Flip chicken again after 20 minutes

Keep doing that until the chicken is totally brown


If you are allowed to use the Barbecue Pit, put the chicken on the grill at low heat and use the smoke to barbecue the chicken

Ingredients

  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs or Chicken Breast
  • 1 Onion
  • Garlic
  • 2 Potatoes
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1/2 sweet pepper
  • 1 tsp Pimento
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Ingredients

  • Chicken Breast Cubed or boneless skinless thighs
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 3 tsp curried powder
  • 2 Potatoes cubed
  • 1 Carrot

  • 3 slices Salmon
  • 1/2 small ginger root
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tsp Butter
  • 1/2 Orange

  • 2 Snapper
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tsp Lemon Pepper
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper


Mix all dried ingredients together

Roasted Turkey Breast

Ingredients

  • 1 Oven Roasted Turkey Breast 
  • Rosemary
  • Any Dried herb
  • 2 tsp butter


Instructions

Rub turkey breast with butter

Sprinkle seasoning on Turkey 

Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees

Set aside to cool for a bit


That Turkey Breast can be used for sandwiches, pizza topping, scrambled eggs, or sliced and eaten with rice or potatoes
